Nisha Toomey is a PhD candidate in Social Justice Education at the University of Toronto. Her dissertation traces white supremacist and settler colonial logics in Western humanitarianism and international development. She has been an activist for migrant justice issues for over a decade, including with No One Is Illegal-Toronto.
