Her sight froze on the gas drops that were slowly leaking from the buses’ exhausted pipes, her mind got caught up in the loop choreography of these being recreated at the edge of the tubes. The cycle started with a microscopic liquid pearl that grew in volume and density until it was round and heavy enough to be pushed to the floor by gravity.
